Innovation Day 2009

Under the slogan 'Megatrends for Brands and Media', the SERVICEPLAN agency group invited guests to the fifth Innovation Day in the House of Communication. Over 350 interested guests spend a day full of communication with fascinating talks, stimulating discussions, in-depth sessions and innovative lounges.

Guests were able to greet high-profile speakers including Steffen Klusmann (Chief Editor of Financial Times Deutschland, 'Renaissance of Politics'), Dr Erich Joachimsthaler (founder and CEO of Vivaldi Partners, 'Brand X.O'), Jason Glickman (CEO Tremor Media, 'Media convergence – IP & TV!') and Andreas Bartl (Executive Board member of German Free TV ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG,
'Branded Entertainment') - these speakers entertained and informed the public with their interesting talks. Thomas Osterkorn (Chief Editor of stern) had the role of host throughout the day.

Topical issues such as green marketing, sustainability and innovation management were explored in depth in discussions with the guests during four sessions. These were given by Claudia Langer (Utopia AG), Peter Pynta (Neuro-Insight), Alexander Schill (SERVICEPLAN agency group) and Dr Oliver Nickel (Icon Added Value GmbH). The highlight that rounded off the day was Thomas Osterkorn's and Nina Eichinger's entertaining interview with entertainer Dieter Bohlen.

Following an informative day, there were lively celebrations in the evening at the Oktoberfest party in the celebrity nightclub P1. The thoroughly positive feedback from the participants and the press confirmed that the Innovation Day is a fascinating and rewarding day that makes people look ahead to the future, get involved and gives them food for thought.
